About Hush
Hush is a quiet daily ritual for Muslims: a verse in the morning, a dua, a moment of reflection. On the iPhone it lives on your Lock Screen. On this website, the same daily page and a set of free tools are open to everyone.
Who makes it
Hush is made by an independent developer in Istanbul. The app has been on the App Store since March 2026 and speaks English, Arabic, French and Turkish. The app has no ads: it is free to download and its full experience is a subscription. The tools on this website are free.
How we handle the Qur’an and hadith
- Verses are quoted word for word, never paraphrased. On this website the English is Saheeh International, next to the Arabic.
- Hadith are cited by collection and number, so you can check them yourself.
- The dream dictionary presents classical readings as heritage, not as predictions. Nothing here is fortune-telling or a claim about your future.
- Islamic dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar and can move by a day where you live.
- The companion in the app is a friend, not a mufti. For personal rulings it points you to a qualified scholar.
- If you find a mistake, tell us. We correct it and thank you.

In a paragraph
Hush is a daily Islamic ritual app for iPhone. Each morning it opens with a verse of the Qur’an, a dua, a reflection and a dhikr, and through the day it keeps a verse, a dua, one of the 99 Names, a hadith or the time to the next prayer on the Lock Screen. It also has a Qur’an reader, prayer times and a companion to talk to. Verses are quoted word for word and hadith are cited by collection and number.
