Surah Al-Humaza — The Traducer
Read Surah Al-Humaza (“The Traducer”), the 104th chapter of the Qur'an, in Arabic with a verbatim English translation. Every verse below is quoted word for word — nothing paraphrased.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ
Woe to every scorner and mocker
ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,
ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
Which mounts directed at the hearts.
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
