The three Quls
Al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq and an-Nas after each prayer (Sunan Abi Dawud 1523) — and after Fajr and Maghrib specifically, three times each (Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 3575).
The morning adhkar
The protection dua three times (Abu Dawud 5088), "sayyidul-istighfar" (Sahih al-Bukhari 6306), and the short remembrances the Prophet ﷺ kept every morning. Consistency beats length.
A note on "Ya-Sin in the morning"
The popular narration promising that morning Ya-Sin eases the whole day is graded weak by hadith scholars. Ya-Sin is beloved and rewarded to recite — but the specific morning promise does not stand on an authentic chain, so we won’t attribute it.
