Dua for Pain
When a companion complained of a pain he had felt since becoming Muslim, the Prophet ﷺ did not give him a charm — he gave him his Lord’s name and a dua of refuge, with his own hand on the place of pain. This is it.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillāh (×3).
"In the name of Allah." — said three times, with your hand placed on the part of the body that hurts.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
Aʿūdhu billāhi wa qudratihi min sharri mā ajidu wa uḥādhir. (×7)
"I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and what I fear." — said seven times.

How and when to say it
Place your hand on the place of pain, say "Bismillah" three times, then the dua of refuge seven times.
It can be said for any pain — a headache, an ache, a wound — for yourself or, with the hand placed gently, for another.
Dua and treatment are partners, not rivals: the Prophet ﷺ taught that Allah has sent down a cure for every illness, so seek medicine too (Sahih al-Bukhari 5678).
