In the Islamic tradition, a dream of teeth falling out is most often linked to family, and to worry about the people you love. It is not an established sign that someone will die, whatever you may have read online. What the Qur’an says
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ ٱلْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۭ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًۭا ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۢ بِأَىِّ أَرْضٍۢ تَمُوتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌۢ
Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Most of the fear around this dream is fear for someone’s life. The Qur’an keeps that knowledge with Allah alone, so a tooth in a dream cannot carry it.
What the classical tradition reads into it
- Teeth were classically linked to family members: the front teeth to close relatives, the molars to elders. So some interpreters read a falling tooth as worry about a relative, a concern being carried, not a verdict upon them.
- A gentler and equally old strand reads falling or pulled teeth as a debt settled, a burden leaving, or a worry resolving. In this reading something is shed, not lost.
- Some early interpreters even read strong, healthy teeth as long life for one’s relatives, the very opposite of the modern panic that links teeth dreams to death.
- Put side by side, these readings contradict each other. That is exactly why the tradition treated a teeth dream as uncertain and personal, something to weigh gently, never a lookup in a table.
